Slip and fall cases are inherently difficult. Most of the time the cases become a battle between notice, on the part of the at fault party and carelessness on the part of the injured. A video tape of the scene is generally able to clarify these issues.

However many cases that were either impossible to prove the liability or difficult to do so have now become possible. In the past without video, cases where clients were unable to adequately describe why they fell or what they fell on were summarily dismissed. In the video age, often we see film of the client taking a violent fall, which usually precludes the at fault party from denying the claim out right. This has lead in many cases to an opportunity to settle the case and even litigate on the strength of the video.
