Attorneys Dell & Schaefer Participate In The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program

Attorneys Dell & Schaefer are once again proud to participate in The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.

The Salvation Army has been providing new clothing, toys and gifts for children in need through the Angel Tree program for nearly forty years. Through the Angel Tree program, donors are able to become personally involved because they are able to choose a specific child to help.

The Salvation Army works with 40 social service agencies in Broward County to select families for the Angel Tree program. The Salvation Army then conducts financial interviews with the families to insure that those who need help the most are the ones who receive assistance, with preference given to the children of the working poor. Parents of Angel’s receive an appointment to pick up their toys at the Salvation Army’s Toy Shop. The children then receive the toys from their parents.

In 2008, The Salvation Army distributed gifts to over 3,000 children in Broward County and over 5,000 volunteers adopted Angels, manned the Angel Trees and Red Kettles at area malls and worked at the Salvation Army’s Toy Shop Distribution Warehouse. This year Attorneys Dell & Schaefer are proud to have made the wishes of twenty-four children come true.
