Dangers in a Hotel Room

When considering all of the potential dangers in a hotel room, you think of the slippery bath tub or shower, uneven or torn flooring, a sharp object that you cut yourself on or other common acts of negligence. Certainly in a new surrounding to you like a hotel room, numerous different scenarios exist which can be dangerous. Our client, a middle aged father of three, was traveling and staying in a hotel. He had never stayed in this hotel before. The night of his accident and injury was the first night of his stay at the hotel. After his normal evening ritual he got into bed, watched television for a while and went to sleep. Around 3 a.m. he was suddenly woken when a framed picture that was previously hanging on the wall behind the bed fell off the wall. The framed picture slammed into his face. The force of the impact did significant facial and neck injuries.
