Dell & Schaefer supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County

Since 1965, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County has been enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. The 22th Annual “Hollywood Welcomes the Stars” event which benefits the Boys & Girls Club Marti Huizenga Unit will be held at the Westin Diplomat Country Club on Thursday, October 16 from 5:30 – 8:30pm, hosted by the “Real Deal” Evander Holyfield and will be well attended by sponsors, supporters and many celebrities.

The event will feature Silent Auction items that guests will bid on during the night’s festivities and will be followed up by a rousing “Live Auction”! 100% of all proceeds will go to benefit the Marti Huizenga Boys & Girls Club, a non-profit private agency, whose purpose is to help young people ages 7-17 improve their lives by building self-esteem and developing values and skills during their critical period of growth. Services and programs provide focus on everything from education, social recreation, health and physical education, to leadership and citizenship development, cultural enrichment, and personal adjustment with one-on-one counseling. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs is to assure and to enhance the quality of life for children as participating members of a diverse urban society.

Every day, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County make a difference in thousands of children’s lives. That is why fundraisers are needed like the “Hollywood Welcomes the Stars” event, to help these kids by having a positive impact on their life and a safe place to grow and learn.
