Client Gets Struck By A Truck

Our client, a middle aged man with two children was driving his vehicle in Hollywood, Florida. Suddenly and without warning, his vehicle was struck when a truck ran a stop sign and T-boned our client. The impact was so great that our client’s vehicle did a 360 degree spin. Dazed and confused our client felt pain in his neck and back. Not knowing what to do, our client called the Hollywood Automobile and Truck Accident Attorneys Dell & Schaefer. Our firm took the case and began the process of zealously representing our client’s interests.

Client Undergoes Surgery

After the accident our client needed immediate medical attention. He began treatment at a local chiropractor’s office in Miramar, Florida. After the treatment was complete our client did not feel relief from pain. He sought the medical attention of an orthopedic surgeon who in turn ordered an MRI of his neck. The MRI showed a disc herniation in the cervical spine. The surgeon recommended surgery to repair the damage caused by the accident. Not having many other options, our client decided to undergo the procedure.

Dell & Schaefer Negotiate A Settlement

After the surgery our firm filed a bodily injury demand against the insurance company for the truck. Our firm sought monetary damages for bodily injury, pain and suffering, loss of consortium, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, past and future medical expenses, lost wages, and impairment of ability to earn future wages. After a lengthy negotiation, the case resolved for the policy limits.
