Florida Injury Lawyer: Miami Truck Accident Harms Four

Four family members were injured in a Miami truck accident on Christmas Eve. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Krome Avenue near Southwest 100th Street around 6 p.m. when a dump truck driver could not stop quick enough to avoid a vehicle slowing in front of it. The dump truck driver swerved into oncoming traffic and collided into a vehicle carrying two adults and two children.

The dump truck and the passenger vehicle both rolled over in the collision. All four family members inside the vehicle were injured, including a five-year-old that suffered a broken hand. According to the owner of the dump truck, the driver was a new hire and had been driving the truck for less than two months.

At the time of this report, the condition of the family members is reported as stable. According to WSVN 7 News, the dump truck driver is expected to be cited for swerving into oncoming traffic.

Commercial trucks are extremely large, heavy vehicles that cannot stop quickly to avoid accidents. When these truck drivers are negligent and follow too closely to traffic, they can cause serious accidents due to rear-ending vehicles or swerving into other lanes of traffic. If you have been injured by a reckless truck driver, you deserve justice and compensation for your injuries.
