Naples Truck Accident Kills Two
A 16-year-old driver was killed in a Naples truck accident, according to the Fort Myers News-Press.
Jannelle had stopped her Toyota van in the outside lane of the southbound section of Interstate 75. For reasons that were unclear at the time of the report, a large semi-truck crashed into the rear of her van around 3 a.m. Both Jannelle and the truck driver were ejected from her their vehicles and later died from their injuries. No charges have yet been filed, and Naples police are still looking into what caused this fatal accident.
Her family has suffered an immense tragedy. If it is later found that the driver was operating the truck under the influence, or that the trucking company could have prevented the accident, they may be able to pursue legal action for the wrongful death of their loved one.
