Our Injury Attorneys Represent Victims of Pensacola Truck Accidents

A 41-year-old man was killed in a Pensacola truck accident on November 7. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a semi-truck was attempting to exit a driveway at West Nine Mile Road and Pine Cone Drive when the driver pulled into the path of a Dodge truck. The truck collided into the semi-truck and the driver of the Dodge was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the accident. Charges in the crash were pending investigation at the time of this report.

Due to their large size, commercial trucks are extremely dangerous vehicles on Florida roads and cannot always stop in time to avoid accidents. When truck drivers are negligent or reckless, other motor vehicle drivers are at a great risk of being involved in a potentially fatal truck accident.

Common causes of Florida truck accidents include driver exhaustion, driver distraction, improper loading, insufficient training, improper inspection and maintenance, driver stress and driving under the influence.

Our Florida injury lawyers recently secured $150,000 for a client who was sideswiped by an 18-wheeler, causing him to collide into a concrete barrier. Our client suffered two separate herniated discs of the cervical spine and required surgery to fix the problem. Our attorneys fought on behalf of our client and proved that the semi-truck caused the collision. Our client was awarded a $150,000 settlement and has since healed well from his surgery.
