Our Client Trips On Uneven Pavement
Our client, a middle aged woman, was at a networking event with some of her friends and colleagues. After the event was over she walked out of the restaurant and headed towards her car. Suddenly and without warning she tripped and fell on uneven pavement located immediately outside the restaurant. The fall caused her to fracture her right foot. Not knowing what else to do she called the Miami Trip and Fall Attorneys Dell and Schaefer. Our firm quickly took the case and began the process of zealously representing her interest.
Client Seeks Medical Care
Immediately after the fall, our client was rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with a fracture. She then sought the care and medical treatment of a local podiatrist. The podiatrist wrapped her foot in a cast for several weeks. After the cast was removed she underwent an intense physical therapy regimen with a local chiropractor. She healed nicely and was able to return to work and resume normal activities.
Dell and Schaefer Negotiate A Settlement
After the treatment finished our firm filed a bodily injury demand against the insurance company for the plaza. Our firm originally received a denial stating that they believed our client was not paying attention which led to her tripping on her own two feet. Our firm instantly rejected their version of the events and drafted up a sample complaint. We sent it to the insurance company and advised them that if they did not change their liability determination then our firm would immediately file suit. This tactic obviously worked since right after receiving notification of the complaint draft, they called us and settled the case for $40,000.
