Israeli Visitors Get Into Automobile Accident

Our clients, an Israeli husband and wife and residents of Tel Aviv, Israel, were visiting their relatives in Lake Worth, Florida. As one of their relatives was driving down a busy road, suddenly and without warning another vehicle rand a stop sign and caused our clients vehicle to T-bone the vehicle in front. The impact was so great that the air bags deployed in all the vehicles. Both of our clients suffered severe injuries to the neck, back, arms, shoulders, eyes, head, legs, and feet. The husband also suffered a minor fractured rib in the accident. As luck would have it, the accident also occurred the day before they were supposed to return to Israel. As a result, both the husband and wife had to postpone their flight back home for a week while they recovered enough to travel.

Our clients underwent approximately five chiropractic visits and also underwent MRI’s. The MRI’s came back positive showing serious bodily injury. After the MRI, our clients flew back to Israel to recover.

After our clients returned back to Israel, our firm filed a bodily injury claim against the tortfeasors. Our firm sought monetary compensation for bodily injury, pain and suffering, aggravation of a preexisting injury, loss of consortium, disfigurement, disability, mental anguish, property damage, past and future medical expenses, lost wages, and impairment of ability to earn future wages. After a lengthy negotiation, the cases settled for $50,000.
