Slip and Fall Accident Covered up by Orlando Publix
According to court records, an Orlando man was visiting a local Publix supermarket when he slipped and fell on a puddle of water in the middle of an aisle. His injuries were serious enough to compel him to sue the offending supermarket for damages to help compensate for the expense and pain of medical treatments.
As the legal proceedings began, the man’s Florida personal injury attorney pressed the supermarket to provide contact information for a witness of the accident, in addition to surveillance video that would have offered a clear look at the circumstances of the man’s fall. The supermarket dodged the requests, refusing to give the contact information for the witness and insisting that the video footage of the incident had been lost.
After a long legal battle, it was eventually discovered that the video footage had not been lost and the contact information for the witness was released. The supermarket was penalized for withholding evidence, and the trial was allowed to proceed after an appeal to Florida’s Fifth Circuit.
If you have been injured due to the negligence of a business, you can bet that the company or property owner will do anything possible to limit your ability to recover damages and compensation. Some companies will even unethically withhold evidence if it means protecting their profits. When you or a loved one sustains injuries in a catastrophic slip and fall, you need strong and capable legal representation that knows how to fight the business that caused you harm.

Sunday, September 22, 2013. I stopped by Publix to purchase a rotisserie chicken on my way home from work. Now I have to have and upper Gi endoscopy to remove a foreign object from my stomach. If this does not work they will have to do surgery to remove this object from my stomach.
I am in the hospital St. Lucie Medical Center supposed to do this procedure in the morning. I want to make sure that I am allowed to keep the object that they take out my stomach I believe it is with the tie the chicken drumsticks together believe it was a piece wire instead of twine.
