Client Gets Into An Accident
Our client, a 25 year old recent college graduate, was riding in a ride sharing taxi service such as Uber or Lyft in Miami, Florida. Suddenly and without warning, another vehicle spun out of control and struck the car our client was riding in. The impact was so severe that our client’s vehicle spun around 360 degrees and drove up on the curb. In addition, the tortfeasor proceeded to strike three more cars and a telephone pole causing over $50,000 in property damage. We sought monetary damages for bodily injury, pain and suffering, aggravation of a preexisting condition, pain and suffering, loss of consortium, disfigurement, disability, mental anguish, property damage, past and future medical expenses, lost wages, and impairment of ability to earn future wages. After a lengthy negotiation, the case resolved for $30,000.
