Teenager Killed in Pembroke Pines Truck Accident

A Pembroke Pines truck accident killed a local teenager last month after he ran a red light and slammed into a tow truck. The teen suffered multiple, severe head injuries and was airlifted to Memorial Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

When the teen hit the tow truck, the truck crashed into a black Honda Accord, injuring the driver. Both the tow truck driver and Accord owner were treated for non life-threatening injuries at Memorial Hospital Miramar. Police are still investigating the accident, and charges are pending.

Large trucks are dangerous on the road, especially when aggressive drivers force them to careen into traffic or react quickly. Because of their size, commercial and construction vehicles typically cannot stop or get out of the way quick enough to avoid accidents caused by other careless drivers. If you are too close to incidents, like the black Honda Accord driver, you could be severely injured or even killed in a large truck accident.

Large truck accidents have the potential to affect multiple other cars on the road. Whether the truck or an aggressive driver is negligent in the accident, if you or a loved one has been harmed in a Florida truck accident, you are entitled to justice and compensation for your injuries and hardships.
