Three Year Old Receives Large Settlement After Fall

Three Year Old Fractures Arm
Our client, a three year old little girl, was at the daycare center while her parents were at work. The daycare center was not paying attention while the children were playing outside, and our client climbed up onto the monkey bars unattended. Suddenly and without warning, our client fell off the monkey bars and fractured her little arm. Not knowing what to do, our client’s mother called the Miami Negligent Supervision Attorneys Dell and Schaefer. Our firm took the case and began the process of zealously representing her interests.
Dell and Schaefer Negotiate A Settlement
After the fall, our client was rushed to the hospital. The hospital ER doctors diagnosed her with a fracture to the forearm. The orthopedic surgeon had to place metal rods to stabilize the fracture. Over time the fracture healed and our client was back to being a playful little child. Once the treatment ended, our firm filed a bodily injury demand against the insurance company for the daycare center.
Our firm sought monetary compensation for bodily injury, pain and suffering, disfigurement, disability, mental anguish, and past and future medical expenses. After a lengthy settlement process, the case resolved for a large sum of money. Due to the confidentiality clause, our firm cannot disclose the settlement amount, but when the child turns 18, she will have a nice chunk of change waiting for her!
