Wendy’s Pays Over $200,000 in Slip and Fall Case to Fort Lauderdale Man
A Fort Lauderdale man received over $200,000 in a slip and fall settlement with Denny’s Restaurant. The man was exiting a booth at the restaurant when he slipped and fell crashing to the floor. He suffered a serious wrist fracture, back injuries and sued Wendy’s parent company, KS & P Restaurants, according to court records.
Evidence showed that the plaintiff’s injuries included lumbrosacral spine strain and a fracture of the scaphoid. After months of rehabilitation, the plaintiff underwent wrist surgery and was away from his job for months due to his injuries. Even after surgery and numerous doctor visits, the victim still experiences wrist pain and stiffness.
In addition to his injuries, he amassed thousands of dollars in medical bills. The surgeon’s fee alone was $5,000 and there was an additional $5,000 surgery center fee. There was also over $1,000 in medication. The victim’s Florida personal injury attorney was able to settle reach a favorable settlement of over $200,000 for his client.

I fell today at a Wendy’s in eau Claire Wisconsin. I got mine and my sons sodas and both feet went up and I fell on my butt and arm soda went all over. I was soaked and my arm hurt I was helped up. The lady had just moped up a spill but didn’t get all of it is what a customer said so it was still wet with some ice on the floor yet there was no wet signs up she brought the mop bucket back out with the wet signs. My husband took me to urgent care had a xray done my arm was not broken but soar and sprained I’m in a sling should heal on its on. I just want the billed paid and ill be happy. If not I’ll have to get a lawyer. So we will see what happens with the investigation.

this is stanley again..fell in little rock..they had ac water leaking from roof..no wet sign and i fell right in front of two cameras.and i also took video and pics

I fell down some steps going into a restaurant and broke my wrist. I have pins in it,the Dr said should heal fine I reported it a few days later. The restaurants insurNce company called me and said I had to send in my unpaid medical bills that my isurance company doesn’t pay and they will pay up to five thousand dollars. I would like to avoid all that hassle and ask them to just send me the money And I will pay the bills myself. Can I ask them that?

Fell going into Wendy’s due to poor lighting. Manager stated on the report that she fill out that it was poor lighting and that she didn’t let her worker go out at night because it was no light, however when I put up my granddaughter got out of the car and my car light was shine on her, so I got out and as I close my car door my car light went out. It was so dark that I couldn’t see any thing, I made a few step and felt like some pick me up and threw me in the bushes. My left hand and littloe was broke and left elbow has surg, right shoulder surgery, neck pain and SI jount that I am still getting treatment for. However they stated that I was at fault.
