$700,000 – Port St. Lucie Auto Accident Victim Undergoes Neck Surgery

Our client, a 38 year old roofer, was stopped at a red light in Port St. Lucie, Florida, when he was rear-ended by another car. The force of the collision caused our client to hit the car in front of him.

After the collision, he was rushed by ambulance to the emergency room where he complained of severe neck pain. He subsequently had MRIs taken, which revealed herniated discs in his cervical region at C3-4, C4-5, and C5-6.

Due to the severity of his disk injuries, our client underwent a cervical discectomy and fusion at those levels, including the use of a bone graft. He was left with a disfiguring scar on his neck, experiences difficulty swallowing, and his lost the ability to perform the functions required of his job, hindering his opportunity to earn an income.

Our client retained Auto Accident Lawyers Dell & Schaefer, to represent him against the other driver’s insurance company.

The insurance company claimed that the impact of the vehicles was not significant enough to cause the injuries claimed by our client. Extensive discovery and depositions were conducted. Shortly before trial, a mediation was held, at which time a settlement was obtained for our client.

Personal Injury Attorneys Dell & Schaefer, were able to secure a settlement of $700,000 to compensate our client for his injuries, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
